Athletic Trainer

Job Title: BOC-certified and possess Wisconsin state athletic training licensure, certification, or registration. NPI Number Required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to join our sports medicine team. In this role, you will be responsible for the prevention, evaluation, immediate care, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. You will work closely with athletes, coaching staff, and physicians to ensure a safe, healthy environment for peak physical performance. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, and is committed to athlete welfare and long-term recovery goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Injury Prevention: Design and implement conditioning, taping, and injury prevention programs.
  
• On-Site Coverage: Provide medical coverage at practices, home games, and designated away events.
  
• Acute Care: Administer immediate first aid and emergency care for acute athletic injuries.
  
• Clinical Evaluation: Assess and diagnose sports-related musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
  
• Rehabilitation: Develop and supervise custom recovery and rehabilitation plans for injured athletes.
  
• Medical Collaboration: Partner with physicians to manage care plans, concussions, and clear athletes for return-to-play.
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential medical records regarding treatments and player progress using [Insert EMR System, e.g., Epic].
  
• Inventory & Budgeting: Manage the athletic training facility budget, stock supplies, and maintain therapeutic equipment.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program.
  
• Certification: Active Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer credential.
  
• Licensure: Wisconsin State athletic training licensure (or eligibility to obtain it before the start date).
  
• Emergency Care: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers.
  
• Physical Demands: Work is medium demand. Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects. Medium strength is required to position patients for examination. May assist patients as needed, helping them on and off the exam table and/or bed. Must be able to work in outdoor conditions. Stand or walk for long periods during events.
  
• Travel: Willingness to travel with sports teams as required by the game schedule.
  

Preferred Experience

• Track Record: [1–3+] years of experience working in a high school, collegiate, or clinical sports setting.
• Specializations: Experience with concussion management protocols and orthopedic casting/splinting.

Physical Therapist

The full time Physical Therapist will work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday, treating a wide variety of patients in an excellent outpatient orthopedic setting. A condensed work schedule of 4 – 10 hour work days (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday) is possible.

This position is for full time hours, although a quality candidate seeking part time hours will be considered. We are currently not hiring for this position.

Requirements

• Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a PT strip
• PTs with interest and experience in manual therapy are preferred
• Dry Needling certification or interest in becoming DN certified preferred

Physical Therapy Aide

As a Therapy Aide, you will support healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and enhancing the recovery process. Reporting to the therapy team, your role involves assisting with care plans, providing patient service, and utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Join us in making a positive impact on patients’ lives through dedicated support and compassionate care.

The part-time Physical Therapy Aide will work a schedule Wednesday and Thursday, assisting in treating a wide variety of patients in a beautiful outpatient orthopedic setting. A condensed work schedule at 6 hours per day for a total of 12 hours. No weekends / No holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is available for therapy sessions.
• Help patients with exercises and activities designed to improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and home exercises to enhance recovery.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment in the clinic setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong patient service and care skills.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
• Undergraduate bachelor’s/associate degree from exercise related field is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferably experienced in health care delivery setting.
