Since I was very young, I have been interested in healthcare. My mother is a nurse, which introduced me to many different professions that involved helping others and making them well again. In high school I observed the kind of influence that a therapist can have on one individual. The thought of motivating, educating, and nurturing patients back to health was very inviting to me.
In 1997, I graduated from Concordia University, earning my bachelors degree in occupational therapy, with specialty areas in hand therapy and ergonomics.I have had the opportunity to solidify and build an industrial rehabilitation program with local industries. This experience allowed me to treat numerous patients with injuries specifically relating to cumulative, post-traumatic, arthritis, and disorders of the elbows, hands and wrists.
After three years in the field of occupational therapy, I had the opportunity to work with physical therapists -many possessed great knowledge and clinical skills for treatment and patient care. Ultimately, I pursued an advanced degree, and received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Concordia University in May of 2002. I was able to observe and learn from many talented and brilliant treating therapists.
Ever since I treated my first patient, I knew that I had an enthusiasm for being dedicated to my patients and using various therapeutic options to make them well again. I love to help my patients become healthy again.

| I have made a life-long commitment to learning and attempting to transfer my education into enhanced successes with patient care. Over the past decade I have attended numerous workshops and clinics to better myself as a treating therapist and continue to provide patients with optimal therapy. |

I knew this wasnt going to be a simple recovery, but the reassurance of Kyle helped me to understand that some pain gave me strength toward healing.
