Performance Enhancement Program

Mission Statement

The Fit Fore Golf Performance Enhancement Program was developed to maximize a golfers physical potential as it relates to the requirements necessary for a consistent golf swing to occur.  The Fit Fore Golf Program is also designed to prevent and reduce injury/ pain in your golf game.

Good Golf

Many if not all of the golfers making money on Sundays have addressed the following parts of their game:

  • Appropriately fitted equipment
  • Professional golf instruction
  • Purposeful practice
  • Human performance

In many respects the most important “club” in your bag is your body.  It is an integral part of every swing you make.  Flaws in your human performance will consistently be present in your swing.  Customized performance enhancement programs have elevated all sports to new levels with golf being no exception.

No doubt the mechanics of the golf swing require the body to perform certain athletic movements.  If you have pain and/or structural limitations in your posture, balance, flexibility or strength limiting these athletic movements the body will compensate for it and the dreaded “banana slice” returns.  These compensations lead to inconsistency, poor ball contact, as well as loss of distance and accuracy.

Content

Fit Fore Golf Program is an entirely customized program developed to facilitate and improve consistency in the mechanics of your body as it relates to the golf swing.

Fit Fore Golf begins with a comprehensive initial assessment by a trained physical therapist assessing posture, flexibility, balance, and strength in the extremities and spine.

A specific and customized program is then developed to restore and favorably influence the physical limitations that are unique to the golfers body.  The golfer can then choose to follow the program in a home exercise setting or work out under supervision at our facility.  The program is then progressed and updated intermittently over the course of several weeks and/or months as needed to meet the goals initially outlined and agreed upon.

Cost

The initial assessment lasts for approximately one hour in duration.  An initial performance program will be outlined and provided to the golfer.  Follow up exercise sessions will last approximately 30 minutes in duration for progression and advancement of the program.

Initial Performance Assessment $ 80.00
Follow up Exercise Progressions $ 40.00

Exercise material and supplies may be provided to accomplish exercise goals at additional cost to golfer.

We golf to compete and enjoy.
