Fond du Lac became the birthplace of BIA. It was the result of campfire conversations of two long-time friends who wanted to create their brand of treatment.
We began our journey in a small office on the north side of the city and then moved to our current location on the east frontage road at 103 S. Pioneer Road, on the west side of town in 1995. Our Fond du Lac facility is physically the largest of our clinics, which provides us the opportunity to perform work conditioning for our worker compensation clients, preparing to return to work in a structured safe environment. It is also home to our billing department.
The clients we serve may have a variety of orthopedic conditions such as neck/back pain, shoulder/elbow/hand/hip/knee/ankle injuries. These conditions may be pre- or post-operative and may have occurred from the result of work or sport. We also see a variety of clients with neurological and balance disorders. The Fond du Lac clinic staff involves several veteran staff members who were on the “ground floor” of the creating of the clinic, and were instrumental in its growth. The staff includes six physical therapists, Dan Digman, John Olson, Kyle Borowitz, Jennifer Lucas, Jessica Grede, and Eric Rebne. Kyle Borowitz is also an occupational therapist and a certified hand therapist. We have one physical therapy assistant who works out of our Fond du Lac office, Jessica Gray. We have four veteran exercise assistants, Lynn Dux, Renae Thompson, Renee Engel, and Jeff Dallman. Our clinic hours in Fond du Lac range from 7 or 8 am to 7 pm Monday thru Friday, with additional appointment times as needed. We have well established and trusted relationships with physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and podiatrists from Green Bay to Milwaukee and from Ripon to Sheboygan, and all points in between.
